Daydreaming

Karina loves her bath.  Every time she gets one, she gets really excited.  She knows that when I start taking the baby gate down, it's bath time!  She goes right into the bathroom, starts grabbing her bath toys, and stares at the tub.  I have to be sure that I have her towel and washcloth ready before I take the gate down!  I turn on the water and you would think that girl had ants in her pants!  We take her shirt and diaper off and she is stamping her feet with impatience to get in, even if there's barely any water in the tub yet!  So, in she goes!  Then, tonight, she did something so funny.  She likes to sit right next to the water coming out of the spout.  Tonight, a bunch of her toys were floating around at that end of the tub, and I had set her down sort of in the middle of the tub.  She was frantically moving her toys away from that spout to make room for her!  She scooted right up next to the water coming out, almost under it, if not for the bathtub faucet "surfer duckie"  She was really trying to get under the spout!  But the funniest part was watching her fling her toys away so she would have room to sit there.  I never imagined bathtime would be so much fun for ME!
