Kitchen Chair

Karina is always wanting to be held, and I hold her a lot, but sometimes I just can't, like when I'm preparing meals in the kitchen.  One day, I pulled a kitchen chair up to the counter and let her "help" me.  She was so happy!  A few days later, I was making lunch, and Bill was sitting in the kitchen.  We were talking and sort of ignoring the fussing noises, but then Karina tried to push and pull on Bill.  He didn't know what she wanted, and then it suddenly dawned on me that she wanted him to get out of the chair and put it by the counter where I was working!  Now, whenever anyone is standing at the counter doing anything, she wants to pull the chair over.  She will pull on it and make her little fussing sounds until you move it over.  Today, she "helped" me make pancakes for her, David, Erin, and me to have for lunch.  She gets such a kick out of being up high and being able to reach things on the counter.  I don't have any pictures of her up on the chair, because I'm not willing to leave her side to take a picture.  So you'll just have to use your imaginations on this one, until I get a chance to have Bill or David take a picture for me.

Oh the fun you two can have if you start doing kitchen activities!
