Yard Sale!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT:  I noticed I could not find this post except by going through my edit posts page.  I don't know what happened so I'm reposting it.  Sorry!

Here it is, folks, the post you've all been waiting for!  The yard sale pictures!  We had more stuff than ever this year; did 8 separate pickups from people's houses, and wound up making over $4000 for the youth to use towards their trip to New Orleans next summer!  And that is indeed why we do this; it's a fundraiser for our kids to go to the National Youth Gathering, which is held every 3 years in different major cities around the US.  For the first time, they are going back two years in a row to the same city, New Orleans.  So on the two years we aren't traveling, we host a ginormous yard sale in the school gym.  It literally FILLS the gym.  I think this year we used every single movable table in the church!  So without further ado, here are the pictures!!  Just to let you know, some are credited to one of our youth group members, MQ.  I did not take those photos, and in fact, they are actually better than they are showing up on here.  They are copied with low resolution.  She is a really good photographer.  I used some of her shots because I didn't take as many pictures this year as I did last year.

Before all the tables are laid out where they'll go; here is our preliminary setup.
Creepy parsonage basement (the parsonage is a house the church owns that is across the parking lot; we used it when our new pastor moved here before he found a house; but it's vacant most of the time.  There was some stuff in the basement we could have, so we had to go down there to get it).
 The pile of doom!!!
Sorting has started but still pretty rough looking.

Working our way through the pile of doom.
This is just one of the many heavy items the kids had to move from the parsonage to the gym in 90+ degree heat and what seemed like 100% humidity.
More images of the pile of doom.

 Toys exploding.

I will make another post with some more photos.  This one is getting pretty long.
