Karina likes cheese and she and I eat a lot of it. We eat it a lot because, not only do we love it, she needs it. She can't have any peanut products because of the stupid allergy, and she won't eat eggs yet. But, as my brother would say, I digress. Karina and I normally eat plain old American cheese, or string cheese, and sometimes we have cheesy biscuits made from Colby Jack cheese (mmmmmmmmmmm good!). The American cheese and string cheese I tear up and put on her plate with the rest of her meal (usually lunch). With the string cheese, she will put huge chunks of it in her mouth if I don't tear it up small enough.
The funny thing is, she hates the tiny shredded strings that inevitably peel off when I tear the bigger pieces off for her. You know how when you peel the string cheese you get those little wispy strings? She hates them. She won't eat them. She hands them to me and makes a whining noise because she doesn't want them on her fingers!
