Lately Karina has been making up stories and songs. This morning at breakfast I had the chance to write two of them down. I'm sharing them here for you but also for me, so I can remember them. I wrote them as close to how she said them as I could.
Story 1
Once there was a ladybug who wanted to play outside but it was too windy. So she found a giant spiderweb to stop the rain. So she went to a path. She went to a walk. There's a playground. It has some swings on it. She went on the slide. And then she went home over the hills. And then she went all the way home and then she took a little nap. And that is the end of my story!
Story 2
Once upon a time there lived a lovely ladybug who wanted to go to the gym. But it was too breezy. So she had to stay inside. It was too breezy outside. So she watched a movie. She was sad. She took a little nap. Then she looked out of the window. The sun was out. It was warm outside when she woke up from her nap. She played on the swingset. She watched TV. Then snow came. She played in the snow. The End.
