Are you looking for a good cause?

If you are looking for a good cause for the holidays or just because, here is one you may wish to consider.  The blogger at http://www.libslibrary.blogspot.com/ has adopted a service dog to help her with the various medical conditions she suffers from due to brain damage.  Her dog is heartworm positive and requires some special treatment to make sure the heartworms are completely killed and he can go on to live a healthy life.  Since she is medically disabled, she does not work and has decided to ask the blogging community for help.  You can read more about her at Second Time Around, here, if you want to learn more.  Or, you can just go to her site and read up there.
